I was thinking about doing that on new years eve : )
I think I’ll do it gradually in the next few days. And I’m looking forward to seeing your reblogs!

I love this photo because I waited a long time for it and I just had a few seconds to get it. It was just after a concert during the FrancoFolies festival in Montréal, when everybody went to get the metro, so the station was very crowded. It was just after the train on my left took everyone on the platform and just before the one on my right arrived.

A friend of mine messing around in her housemate’s homemade recording studio. The room was very dark so I didn’t think we’d see something on the photo but in the end, it’s one of my favorite photos of this year.

When Teresa asked us to submit our “best shot of 2011” on her secondary blog, I chose this one.
It was taken just in front of where I used to live. I was going to work and I willingly missed my bus to take this photo. I never knew why these school buses were there, in the middle of the park, and why there were so many.

My most memorable moment of 2011 was immortalized with this photo.
In July, I went with a friend for a week-long trip in Gaspésie (a peninsula in Québec) during which we hitchhiked for a little less than 2 000 km. The first day, we traveled for more than 700 km, for twelve hours, and met at least a dozen (very different) people. Our last stop was in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, where there was a fabulous sunset. We couldn’t believe what we had seen and experienced in just one day and this last stop was the icing on the cake. This week was life changing for me.

Another memorable moment of 2011 for me took place during Canada Day. I spend three days in a chalet by a lake, in a forest of the Laurentides (QC), with some friends. On the second day, I woke up really early, by chance, to this sunrise. It’s one of those moments where even the best shot cannot convey what you can feel.

I don’t have a tripod, so this one was hard to get and my brother, with whom I traveled, was very patient with me.
